Remembering Ant
This challenge is a way for me to honour my brother's memory and turn something deeply personal into support for others.
I'm Laura, and I'm taking on the London Marathon 2027 to raise money for Mind in memory of my brother, Anthony. This is my journey - the training, the tough days, the little wins, and the reason behind every step.
Every donation, share and word of encouragement means so much. Thank you for being part of this.
In 2027, I'll be taking on the London Marathon to raise funds for Mind in memory of my brother, Anthony - Ant to those who knew him.
I've set myself a huge challenge, and the training won't always be easy. But every mile is a chance to honour Ant, help raise awareness of mental health, and support a charity that works to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
This website is where I'll share the journey honestly: the progress, the setbacks, the fundraising events and all the moments in between. Thank you for being here and supporting the reason behind my run.
Help me make a difference →Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. With your help, this challenge can contribute to that important work.
This challenge is a way for me to honour my brother's memory and turn something deeply personal into support for others.
Mental health deserves understanding, compassion and open conversations - without judgement or shame.
Your donation or share helps spread the word and supports my fundraising goal for Mind.
Whether you can donate, come along to a fundraising event, buy a handmade item or simply share the page, thank you. Every bit of support helps me get closer to the target.
Donate on JustGiving →The fundraising figure will appear here once linked. View the current total on JustGiving.
I'll share updates here as the miles add up - the training, the milestones and the fundraising moments that make this challenge possible.
Training updates, lessons learned, hard days and the little victories that keep me going.
Charity events, singing, handmade fundraising creations and ways you can get involved.
Follow the countdown as I work towards the start line and take on this unforgettable challenge.
I'm doing this for Ant, for mental health, and for everyone who needs to know they aren't alone. Thank you for being part of my journey.
